Inspired by Psyche of Greek mythology, this vintage tarot-style design portrays her reaching toward a butterfly beneath a majestic sun, with the word “Becoming” below. Ethereal and symbolic, it draws on Psyche’s extraordinary journey through love, trials, transformation, and ultimately her emergence into something greater.
In Greek, psyche can mean “soul” and is also associated with the butterfly, making the butterfly a powerful symbol of Psyche and her transformation. Her myth takes her through curiosity, loss, impossible trials, and reunion with Eros before she is granted immortality...making “Becoming” a fitting theme for growth that is earned through experience rather than simply bestowed.
